Berenice (“Don’t Look Back”)
I used this short story for the cutout animation video for “Don’t Look Back”, by Belgian artist and singer Kyoko. It’s the story of a man with an obsession with sick women. In the case of Berenice (whom he marries), he develops a fetisj for her teeth. He even breaks open her grave to recuperate them.
